MATCHUP SUMMARY
Not going to sugar coat it, perhaps the worse fantasy game on the slate. These teams met week 1 with the Pats winning 25-6. Not much has changed between the two teams since weeks 1. The Jets are horrible and the Pats play slow and their defense is solid. Not a game I will be targeting heavily.
Mac Jones has improved since the first meeting and also has much more confidence. With that said I only have one offensive target and that is Damien Harris. He has been getting 15-18 carries in games with proper game flow. Unfortunately he is strictly good for running as he hasn’t been involved in the receiving part of the game.
Corey Davis is the only Jet to score 20+ fantasy points in a game this season. Davis has done it twice including the season opener against the Patriots. If your feeling risky go for it, myself I will be passing. I will not be risking any other Jet in my lineups since they are on the road, against a solid defense, ball controlled offense and they simply aren’t worth it.
THE DFS GEMS
Damien Harris, Patriots- $5,700. Has upside in the 100 yard plus range and two touchdowns. Could be a nice pivot as the Jets defense against the run isn’t good.
New England Defense- $3,400. Will likely be popular as the price is more than fair. Scored 19 points in season opener, only double digit performance.
