MATCHUP SUMMARY

The Seattle Seahawks (2-5) have battled the last two weeks without Russell Wilson but have come up short both games losing at home to New Orleans 13-10 and in Pittsburgh 23-20. The offense has clearly stalled with Geno Smith under center and it has hurt the fantasy production of wide receivers DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett the most. In the loss to the Saints, Metcalf did connect with Smith on an 84-yard touchdown pass which proved to be the lone highlight for the Seahawks. The offense will look to get on track this week at home against the Jaguars who rank are near the bottom of the league in defense.

Head coach Urban Meyer got his first win as an NFL head coach two weeks ago when the Jaguars (1-5) beat the Dolphins in London 23-20. Meyer and company will look to build on that win when they travel to Seattle to take on the Seahawks. Trevor Lawrence completed 25 of 41 passes for 319 yards and a touchdown in the win over the Dolphins and has been much comfortable in this offense the last few weeks. James Robinson continues to be the workhorse running back for this team and has been one of the most consistent fantasy running backs this season. He makes for a nice mid-tier fantasy option this week.

THE DFS GEMS

DK Metcalf, SEA – $6,800 on DraftKings. The price tag is as cheap as it has been all year. Even without Russell Wilson, he has shown big play potential and draws a great matchup this week against the awful Jaguars defense.

James Robinson, JAC – $6,600 on DraftKings. This Seahawks defense gave up 179 total yards to Alvin Kamara a week ago, I look for Robinson to have a similar type game here in a nice matchup on the road.
