Glock’s NFL Lineup Review | Week 13

What is up everybody! This is a new article we are introducing this year which will review my main GPP/Single Entry team that I played over the weekend. I’ll do my best to explain why I played who I played, what I would have changed, and the results that came with it. The aim is to have this released every Tuesday and the hope is that the article can help provide you some valuable insight which can help improve your process when playing NFL DFS.

I always like writing review type of articles too since it forces me to be self-critical about my play and helps improves my process in turn. I definitely recommend reviewing your lineups after every weekend as well, I can guarantee it will make you a better player.

If you are familiar with my NBA Year In Review article from last year, I am not a high stakes player whatsoever and tend to play SE contests which are at the $100 price point and under. Whether you are a high stakes or low stakes player, you should be able to take tidbits and apply it to all levels of play. For the purposes of this article, I’ll be reviewing the ownership from the $100 NFL $400K Spy [$100K to 1st, Single Entry] contest. Lets dive in!

Tua Tagovailoa – WAS has been bleeding fantasy points vs opposing QBs all year so Tua was an easy click for me this week. MIA passing stacks got off to a quick start but fizzled off due to such a big lead which resulted in more RB work

Rachaad White – Thought TB would dominate here against a bad CAR team and White would be easily featured in this script

Zack Moss – Had a monster role with no JT, just did not result into meaningful fantasy points. Definitely chalk I was willing to eat this week and would play again

Elijah Moore – I needed some salary relief to jam in CMC + Tyreek and Moore was one of my favorite options as he’s had rapport with Flacco in the past

Tyreek Hill – No brainer QB+WR pairing with Tua despite the chalk. In a close game environment, could have mega smashed

Curtis Samuel – Another no brainer run back for my MIA stack that I could get that was cost effective to jam in CMC + Tyreek. It’s been clear that Samuel and Howell have a great connection as well

Brevin Jordan – No Schultz for HOU so this was an easy choice for me as my Best Ball shares from last year come to fruition in Brevin Jordan. Not to mention he gave me the salary relief I needed

Christian McCaffrey – Loved SF/PHI so CMC was my way of getting exposure into that game. A walking 20+ FPTs every time he suits up

Patriots DST – Definitely a last in type of play for me with the salary I had available. Featured a low total, bad weather, and an always disappointing Chargers team

Felt pretty good with my team and was in the cash for most of the day until Deebo Samuel and Brock Purdy chalk smashed me to smithereens. A lot of my lineup faltered due to negative game script. Miami took the lead and never looked back, Washington could not push them whatsoever so the RBs from MIA got most of the work in the 2nd half. San Francisco also had very big plays specifically to Deebo which made their lead pretty big, thus resulting in less usage for CMC. Purdy and Deebo were a cumulative 50+% owned in the contest above so I got bumped down pretty hard after Deebo’s 3rd TD.

I definitely loved my team though and would definitely play it again over and over again. If you’ve read my articles this year, you know I love double jamming studs and this was just another one of those weeks with the salary relief options we had available. As always though, onwards and upwards! See you next week for the Week 14 Recap!
