MATCHUP SUMMARY

This is a huge game for the red hot Dolphins who still have wild card aspirations. Winners of four in a row, the Dolphins can’t let this be a let down game. Meanwhile the Giants have struggled in general but have had little to no success on the road.

Over their four game run of wins the defense and solid play from Tua Tagovaiola have been the recipe for success. Tua hasn’t been spectacular fantasy wise during those games which will keep people away, including myself. He is going up against the strength of the Giants who have a solid pass defense. The player who the game sets up best for is Myles Gaskin. He isn’t flashy by any means but what I like is he is up against a horrid run defense and the Dolphins aren’t afraid to use him. Gaskin has seen 20+ attempts in multiple games.

Is the Daniel Jones project over after this season? He continues to struggle week after week. The defense is keeping the Giants competitive and if Jones were to step up they might actually be good. As long as Jones is at the helm it’s difficult to play any of his potential contributors. In addition with Sterling Sheppard possibly returning and the emergence of Kadarius Toney it’s difficult to determine who will get the targets. Throw in Evan Engram, Kenny Golladay and Saquan Barkley and the options are of abundance.

THE DFS GEMS

Myles Gaskin, Dolphins- $5,800. I really like the upside for Gaskin going against a weak run defense and getting 20+ touches. If he can find the end zone he should have a nice fantasy day.

Miami Dolphins, Defense- $3,300. The price is fair for a team who has scores 15+ points in three of past four games. Add in that Jones isn’t afraid to turn the ball over and the upside once again could be fruitful.

Sterling Sheppard, Giants- $4,900. If he plays he should be lower owned and a nice price. In his five games this season he has seen 7+ targets scoring 15+ points three times.
