MATCHUP SUMMARY

The New York Giants travel to Philly Saturday night looking for another upset win and to keep their season alive. Last week Daniel Jones had 300+ yards passing for only the 3rd time this season. He completed 69% of his passing while throwing for 2 touchdowns and no interceptions. Dimes also added 78 yards on the ground on 17 carries. This week he faces a much tougher test at Philly vs a legitimate defense. Saquon Barkley only had 14 touches last week but was effective totaling over 100 yards total and 2 touchdowns. I will be under on him this week as I prefer others above him (CMC) and some cheaper options in better matchups.

Isaiah Hodgins remains under 5K after finding the box for the 3rd time in 4 games. Last week was the first time he had hit the 100-yard bonus and I will be under on him this week. Both Hodgins and Slayton will have tougher matchups vs these good cornerbacks. My favorite option on this passing attack will be Richie James who will man the slot and has the best matchup. James caught 7 of 9 targets for 61 yards and a touchdown vs the Eagles earlier this season. I think we see James much more involved this week vs what we saw last week.

The Eagles are 7.5 home favorites and I want to get exposure to this offense in a variety of ways. Miles Sanders will be somebody I want to get overweight on here and I think we get him at low ownership. In week 18 Philly mixed in Scott and Gainwell more and I think we see Sanders go back into the feature role here. Sanders torched this Giants team last month rushing for 144 yards and 2 touchdowns. I love this Philly O-Line and feel they have a nice advantage in the trenches. This Philly passing attack should also see lower ownership with both main pass catchers around 10% or less. Hurts has just as big of an upside as any QB on this slate and 2 great options plus Goedert. AJ Brown will get squeezed up top with many looking to go to Chase and Diggs.

My favorite option for GPPs this week is DeVonta Smith who has a price tag of 7.2K that will leave him on an island. Great matchup here for Smith who caught 5+ balls in both games and found the endzone once. Smith is averaging 22.2 DK points over his last 6 games. Many people will look to play 2 tight ends this week to find value and after seeing multiple tight ends get there last week. Goedert should see around 5-8 targets in this matchup and has a 20+ point upside. I predict that he comes in as 4th or 5th highest-owned TE on the slate.

THE DFS GEMS

DeVonta Smith, PHI – $7,200 on DraftKings. We will get Smith at under 10% owned on this short 4-game slate with a 30+ point upside that could shatter the slate.

Miles Sanders, PHI – $5,700 on DraftKings. Sanders has a great price tag and shouldn’t see too much ownership here. I think we see him come in at around 15-20% and has already shown the upside vs this Giants defense.

Richie James Jr., NYG – $3,900 on DraftKings. I think James is one of the best values on the slate and should see his usage increase as he has the best matchup of the Giants pass catchers.
