MATCHUP SUMMARY
The Giants head into Dallas fresh off riding Saquon Barkley to an upset win over the Saints in New Orleans for their first win of the season. They will once again be without top wideouts Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton, opening up additional targets for Barkley, Evan Engram and Kadarius Toney. Quarterback Daniel Jones looks to be taking a big step forward this season and he and his playmakers make for solid plays in a game I expect them to be trailing throughout.
Dak Prescott and the Dallas offense continued to look unstoppable in an impressive whipping of the previously unbeaten Panthers last week. As evidenced by their bottom 5 defensive ranking, the Giants should offer little resistance for this talented offense. The challenge for DFS is identifying high upside plays on the Dallas side because Dak has been very efficient at spreading the ball around and Tony Pollard gets just enough touches to keep Ezekiel Elliott from getting to monster scores.
THE DFS GEMS
SAQUON BARKLEY, NYG – $7300 on DraftKings. Saquon’s price still has yet to catch up to his ceiling capability. With participation on 89% of offensive snaps last week and Shepard and Slayton out, he should be the focal point of the Giants offense.
DANIEL JONES, NYG – $6000 on DraftKings. In two road games at Washington and New Orleans with chase scripts this season, Jones has scored 29.46 and 30.78 DraftKings points while averaging 36 passing attempts. In my opinion, you can play Jones without any of his weapons or pair him with Saquon and/or Evan Engram in tournaments.
CEEDEE LAMB, DAL – $6200 on DraftKings. The targets have been down but with James Bradberry operating on the outside, Lamb is my favorite Cowboys’ play this week.
