FSU Vs Louisville Betting Preview:

FSU: -2.5; O/U 57

Louisville: +2.5; O/U 57

We got a great ACC matchup here tonight between FSU and Louisville. FSU comes into this game 2-0 beating LSU and Duquesne while Louisville comes into this game 1-1 with a lost to Syracuse and a win vs UCF. This is Louisville first home game of the year. This is also a ACC Atlantic rivalry game which will be the last one since the ACC is going away from divisions next year. Florida State leads the series 16-6 and since Louisville joining the ACC they have split 4-4.

For Louisville, Malik Cunningham is the leader of this team he has a ton of upside from both throwing the ball and running the ball. I believe that Louisville will finally come alive tonight vs a Florida state team they will allow points. Cunningham has completed 30-51 passes with 2 Int’s this year with 347 yards passing. Cunningham is also second on the team with rushing attempts behind Evans. Cunningham has 30 rushes for a gain of 176 yards and one TD this year. Evans has 32 rushes for a gain of 167 and 2 TDs both of these guys are averaging over 75 rushing yards a game so far. Hudson and Huggins-Bruce are two of Cunninghams favorite WRs and I expect this Louisville team to put points on the board, but will their defense be able to stop this FSU offense. Louisville so far this year has given up almost 208 yards rushing per game and 186 yards passing per game.

For Florida State, they are led by Jordan Travis who has thrown for over 200 yards in each of FSU wins this year. Travis has completed 31 of 48 passes with 2 TDs and no picks so far this year. This FSU backfield is very even out but their main guys is Ward who has 30 rushes for 176 and 2 TDS so far this year. I wouldn’t be surprised if we see this FSU offense use more of the three backfields look here tonight. Even for the WRs they are also spread-out number wise. Ward is a guy that can also catch balls out of the backfield. Florida state has given up 116 yards per game rushing and 140 yards passing per game. I believe this will be FSU biggest test outside of LSU so far.

My final thoughts are that I think both teams will be able to move the ball on each other especially since Louisville averages 377.5 yards of total offense and FSU averages 515 yards of total offense. I think Louisville will be fired up for their first home game of the year. I do think that FSU will end up coming out on top tonight covering the -2.5 as well.

Zach’s best bet: Over 57 DK
