Hoping to be the next big American tennis star is Sebastian Korda.

Korda is a 6’5 22-year-old competing in his fourth French Open. Korda peaked in his first appearance at Roland Garros, making the fourth round at the age of 18. He hopes to top that achievement this year, and he showed in Australia he has taken his game to the next level. At Melbourne Park he advanced to the quarterfinals but had to retire midway through the match.

Korda is ranked 30th in the world, and while two Americans sit in the top 12, he is still my favorite choice for a patriot to win the Open. He received a fantastic draw, and based on what we’ve seen from him, he could cause some upsets.

Baena vs Tsitsipas

I’m a huge fan of the Greek God. Tsitsipas was printing for us in the Australian Open, and I’m hoping he can do it again here in France.

He’s become known as a choke artist in the big moments, but betting on him in the early rounds of a tournament is free money. He will bulldoze his way to the quarterfinals, and then anything can happen from there on. He is one of the best players in the game, but playing in an era with the three greatest players of all time is simply unfortunate for him.

If Tsitsipas sticks around long enough, maybe he can pick up a Grand Slam win after Djokovic retires.
