Nishioka V. Wolf

Helping close out the first round and open up Tuesday’s slate of matches are Yoshihito Nishioka and JJ Wolf.

While both gentlemen have been first-round exit kind of players, they both made breakthroughs in the Australian Open, making it all the way to the fourth round of play. It’s unfortunate the draw worked out this way, but whoever arises from this match could go on to do some damage.

Nishioka has been on tour for nearly a decade but has nothing of note to show. As for Wolf, he appears to be on the rise, and while he would like to be a little further at 24, he may be a name bettors want to keep an eye on in future tournaments.

Sonego V Humbert

Taking another early morning spot, but playing their second round match is Italian Lorenzo Sonego and Frenchman Ugo Humbert.

This will be the third time the two have faced off, with Sonego claiming the win on clay. While there is no reason for the average fan to know either name in this one, all you need to know is that the Italian is far better on clay than his opponent.

Despite being from France, Humbert prefers the hardcourt, this is his fifth French Open, and it’s the first time he has made it out of the first round. So while he can add that shiny star to his resume, his time at Roland Garros ends here.

Sonego (-125)
Under 38.5 Games (-110)
