#FREE #NASCAR #DFS Xfinity Series Richmond Quick Notes

Just some quick notes I jotted down after practice and qualifying before building line ups. Let me know if you like this format for the lower series and I might start doing it more… Just not gonna get into full breakdowns and cheat sheets for them.

Top Tier

Ty Gibbs looks so much faster than the field. Pole position, definitely the favorite to win and dominate. My Ty builds are gonna be build with the script that he flat out dominates, so not pairing him with other high priced drivers. Going to target those guys in my line ups without Ty.

If not Ty then my next choice to Dominate would be his teammate JHN. This 18 car has been fast all year and JHN showed Top 5 speed in practice. If anyone closes the gap on Ty today, a car from the same stable seems like the best bet to do it.

Another guy you can pivot to in this range off of Ty is Gragson. Gragson has been the best car all season and he has shown a ton of speed on short, flat tracks dating back thru last season. Speed wasn’t impressive in practice so he will likely be the lower owned of these 3 higher priced options.

Mid-High Tier

Josh Berry is a guy for $9100 that pairs nicely with a guy like Ty Gibbs. A track like Richmond should be right in Berry’s wheelhouse and this #8 JRM car will have plenty of speed. He has FL and LL upside but also gives us some PD potential from P12.

Austin Hill is a cheaper option that I think has some dominator potential today as well. This RCR car has had speed all season and Austin has proven to be a guy that knows how to save his tires, which will be big today. This showed up in practice as he was 2nd to Gibbs in 10 lap average. $8400 and will likely be pretty low owned.

Cassill and Herbst are going to be the chalky options in this mid range with their starting positions. I’d prefer Cassill over Herbst since he offers more PD and Herbst always screws me. Hard to argue against either in Cash. If your looking for pivot options in this range, then look to Mayer, Moffitt, and Creed.

Mid-Low Tier

Speaking of chalk… Jeb Burton had trouble in qualifying and is going to a back up car. Starting dead last for $7500, pretty obvious play here. If your looking for a lower owned pivot here then I like Alfredo. Showed decent speed in practice and will carry low ownership starting 19th around the chalk in this range. Brandon Brown is also in play in this range, but will carry more ownership than Alfredo.

Value guys I like today are Yeley, K. Sieg, and Currey. I’m not sure what ownership will look like on either though, I would guess value ownership gets spread out. If your looking for a really deep punt then look to Starr, decent equipment with decent speed in practice.

Cash Core 4

This core would be a great start to any cash line up!
