Good morning NASCAR DFS diehards! Got a little FREE bonus content for you today from RunPure Sports! Not a complete breakdown, but below you will find Cores and Cheat sheets for both the Xfinity Series and Truck Series races today! Contests suck, but should be a fun afternoon of racing and I like the way the slates set up today. Good luck and Run Pure!

Truck Series – 1:00 PM EST

Cheat Sheet

Below is my Cheat Sheet for today’s Truck Series race from Homestead. I have included data from yesterday’s practice session. Qualifying was rained out, so the field is pretty jumbled to start from a speed standpoint, means we have a ton of PD available. I included data from the last 5 “comparable” intermediate races in 2022, races at Texas, Kansas, Charlotte and Darlington, with Darlington being the best correlation. I did not include any past Homestead race data, Trucks did not race here last season and only about 10 drivers in the field have ran a truck here in the last 3 seasons. I highlighted the drivers in my driver pool today, purple being more suitable for GPP.

Cash Core

Below is my Core for Cash games today, JHN is the clear cut favorite and provides PD. Dominate at both Darlington and Kansas this season and had a rocket in practice. After JHN it’s as simple as stacking PD around him, so much of it on this slate with qualifying being rained out.

GPP Core

For GPP today I really love Parker Kligerman. This 75 truck has been great in it’s limited schedule this season. Was a top 5 Truck at Darlington earlier this season, showing that Parker knows how to take care of his stuff, will be important today. Will be way under owned with all the PD priced around him. Ankrum is also a good option if you are making multiple lineups. Enfinger, is damn near a lock in every format with this price tag. After this core you can finish your build by choosing between the favorite JHN, or you can opt for a lower owned option with similar upside in Zane Smith. Once you make that decision, you will still have enough salary to fit in 1 or 2 more of the +$7500 PD options.

Xfinity Series – 4:30 PM EST

Cheat Sheet

Below is my Cheat Sheet for the Xfinity race today, the 2nd of the two races in the double header. Just like the Truck sheet, I have included data from yesterday’s practice session as well as from the 4 most recent “comparable” intermediate tracks. Most drivers in this series do have some history at this track, so I did include data from the last 3 Homestead races for this slate. Important to note that practice yesterday was in the evening after a rain shower, today is going to be hot and slick, don’t put a TON of weight in practice speeds. Same as trucks, I highlighted the drivers in my driver pool with purple being more geared for GPP.

Cash Core

Below is my Cash Core for the Xfinity slate. Got to go with Gragson in cash today. Been on a tear this season and this is a track he runs amazing at, he also sounded like he was holding back quite a bit in practice yesterday and he LOVES his car. Allgaier, has not been great here and did not show much speed in practice. JR motorsports though has been lights out on these types of track and Allgaier should be pretty “Safe” and high owned. Alfredo is another obvious play with his starting position. After this you can finish off pretty balanced targeting PD, shouldn’t have to punt too far in cash today, save that for GPP.

GPP Core

Austin Hill is a guy I want to build around today in GPP. I think most will likely jam Allgaier in today with his starting position so this should give us some leverage opting for a guy like Hill who I think has the upside to win this race today. RCR has always been great here and both cars looked great in practice. Hell, Snider even won in an RCR car here. If you playing multiple line ups I like Berry as well as a similar type play, so you can pivot to him over Hill in some builds. Alfredo is still a lock even in GPP and R. Sieg is another guy that gives us massive PD upside at a great price. After the Core, I really like punting down to some guys like Willaims, Massey, or Mills. All will likely carry lower ownership, and this route will get you off of some guys like K. Sieg and McLaughlin, and allow you to target some higher upside plays priced a little higher. Also, I am 100% fading Allgaier in GPP today… YOLO!
