MATCHUP SUMMARY
The Washington Football Team is coming off an incredible win on Thursday night versus the division-rival Giants. They may have found their QB of the future in Taylor Heinicke. He was 34/46 for 336 yards and 2 TDs. He made an incredible throw to the end zone to Ricky Seals-Jones. The connection he has with Terry Mclaurin is evident as he was targeted 14 times for 107 yards and a touchdown. Antonio Gibson has yet to have a major impact in the game but he is always a viable play. JD Mckissic stole the show last Thursday with 5 catches for 83 yards on 6 targets. This team won’t be owned at all this week, and I like some Heinicke stacks with McClaurin.
While the Bills are coming off a 35-0 shellacking of the Dolphins in week 2, Josh Allen is not producing at the level he was last season. I don’t see a big day for him this week either versus the WFT defense. I don’t mind Stefon Diggs in a bring-back from the Heinicke/McClaurin stacks though. Devin Singletary played 66% of the snaps and had 13 carries for 82 yards in week 2.
THE DFS GEMS
Taylor Heinicke, WFT – $5,600 on DraftKings. As a 7.5 point road dog, I expect him to throw 35-40 times. Super cheap, and won’t be owned.
Terry Mclaurin, WFT – $6,900 on DraftKings. Target monster in this offense. Should see 10+ here.
Stefon Diggs, BUF – $7,600 on Draftkings. Love him as a bring-back in WFT stacks.
