MATCHUP SUMMARY

On paper this would appear to be a game to just cross off. Perhaps it could be filled with fantasy goodness. Two bad defenses up against each other with the Jags two wins coming at home while the Falcons have been solid on the road. What helps is the prices on the players are cheap and fit as value fill in pieces.

The Jags have faced a few tough defenses recently and prior to that they were putting up around 20+ points per game. Trevor Lawrence has had two 20+ fantasy points games and this perhaps could be setup for him to have a big breakthrough game. He has the ability to get the job done on the ground which is a plus. James Robinson is also in a great spot against a horrid run defense. The issue with Robinson is will he get the carries. 18 is his season high while he usually hits around 13-14 carries.

Do we get dusty Matt Ryan or the one who can still play well for his age? Recently he hasn’t been good but this sets up well for him on the road against a weak defense. Ryan should have Cordelle Patterson back which is a huge plus. Perhaps the biggest benefactor of the weak Jags defense will be Kyle Pitts. He has had his best games against weaker teams or defenses playing bad at the time. People will chase Russell Gage but he is touchdown dependent to hit value.

THE DFS GEMS

Laviska Shenault, Jaguars- $4,400. With no Agnew he should see an increased role. He is always dangerous and could play the role of spoiler like Elijah Moore last week. He has two games with 10 targets this season.

Trevor Lawrence, Jaguars- $5,400. My gut is telling me this is his huge game of the season. The price is cheap and he could easily exceed his value.

Kyle Pitts, Falcons- $6,100. As much as I like Lawrence I like Pitts more, especially if Patterson does return. Pitts should see the lions share of targets and like mentioned above feasts on weaker teams.
