MATCHUP SUMMARY
The best thing I can write about the Eagles is that, other than Miles Sanders remaining on IR, they come into this matchup fully healthy. In his absence it looks like Jordan Howard has taken control of the backfield, but this could change any week. Howard is slightly underpriced for the role and matchup at $4900 on DraftKings. Jalen Hurts and DeVonta Smith finally connected for big yardage last week but it’s difficult to trust they’ll have consistency. Dallas Goedert is one of the top Tight End plays on the week as he continues to see heavy volume. With the Broncos looking to be potentially shorthanded defensively, the Eagles offense could provide sneaky upside.
The Broncos return home after a stunning upset of the Cowboys in Dallas and sit at 5-4 in the loaded AFC West. They are potentially going to be missing some key pieces defensively and currently list 10 players as Questionable for this matchup. The Running Back timeshare is not going away as the team failed to unload Melvin Gordon III at the trade deadline. My favorite plays here are Jerry Jeudy and Noah Fant, who makes his return from the COVID IR and the Eagles yield the most fantasy points to opposing Tight Ends.
THE DFS GEMS
JALEN HURTS, PHI – $6500 on DraftKings. Finally priced reasonably and possesses 100-yard rushing upside.
JERRY JEUDY, DEN – $5300 on DraftKings. Has received 12 targets in his two games back from IR and makes for a nice midrange value.
DALLAS GOEDERT, PHI – $4700 on DraftKings. Goedert was a dropped pass away from a monster week last week and usually does enough to get to value.
NOAH FANT, DEN – $4300 on DraftKings. I’d be less inclined to roll the dice with Fant if Albert Okwuegbunam is active.
