MATCHUP SUMMARY

This Cowboys offense has been tough to gauge this season as they haven’t been fully synced up. Last week they went up 24-0 in the first half but then came out flat in the 2nd half only scoring 3 points. They had to hold off a late surge from Washington to win 27-20. Dak has only thrown for 300+ yards once in his last 6 games. He was 22-39 for 211 yards last week with 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions including a poorly thrown pick 6 late. He now has 4 touchdowns to 5 interceptions over the last 4 games. Last week Pollard was out but Zeke still only carried the ball 12 times for 45 yards. Corey Clement carried the ball 13 times as Dallas continued to split carries. Pollard was a DNP in Wednesday’s practice, and we need to continue to monitor his status as the week progresses. CeeDee Lamb saw double-digit targets for the 2nd straight week catching 7 balls for 61 yards. Michael Gallup and Amari Cooper both caught 5 passes but Cooper was the one to find the endzone.

The Giants enter the divisional rivalry game off back-to-back losses and don’t plan to have Daniel Jones back either. Mike Glennon looks to fill in for Jones again coming off a 17-36 191-yard outing with 2 touchdowns and 1 interception. Glennon spread the ball around targeting 12 different players. 7 of them saw more than 1 target, with both running backs Barkley and Booker leading the way in receptions. Glennon now faces the best pass defense and has been held under 200 yards passing in back-to-back losses. It is hard to get excited about rostering any of these Giants players in this spot. Saquon Barkley would be the only guy I would want to consider here but he hasn’t had the same pop in his step this season. Last week he carried the ball 16 times for 64 yards, adding in 31 yards receiving on 3 catches.

This is a spot where I will be looking at stacking up the Dallas passing attack as the Giants have been getable through the air. This could be the get-right spot for Dak and the passing game and I would look to play the Dak double here with two of Lamb, Cooper, or Gallup. The Dallas defense is also in play here vs the turnover-prone Mike Glennon. October 10th Dallas intercepted Glennon twice in the game and held him under 200 yards passing in a 44-20 win. Dak registered 3 passing touchdowns in that game with CeeDee Lamb leading the way with 84 yards receiving.

THE DFS GEMS

Dak Prescott, DAL – $6,500 on DraftKings. Fair price tag on Dak in a good match-up that he scored 25 points in the first meeting.

CeeDee Lamb, DAL – $7,400 on DraftKings. Back-to-back double-digit target games. Has flashed good upside a few times this year just needs to find the endzone.

Michael Gallup, DAL – $5,500 on DraftKings. 8+ targets in his last 4 games and has a very appealing price tag in a good matchup.
