It has been a chalky AAC Tournament, as the top four seeds have all advanced to the semifinals. Houston should take care of Cincinnati with ease, but two-seed Memphis will be trying to beat Tulane for the first time this season.

Both of Memphis’ meetings with Tulane were early in conference play, and it took the Tigers longer than anticipated to find their groove in the season. So while plenty of money will be on the dog, the Tigers will be playing with more ferocity than the Green Wave has seen in the past.

The previous two games between these schools saw an incredible amount of points. Coach Penny has put an emphasis on defense in the second half of the Tigers’ season. So Memphis will try to control the game by limiting scoring and slowing down the pace of play. It will still be a tight game, and while Memphis should come out on top, it is unlikely the will cover 6 points.

Duke V. Virginia

The Blue Devils upset the Miami Hurricanes to book their ticket to the championship game; they now just need a win over the 13th-ranked Cavaliers to clinch their 27th conference tournament championship.

The Blue Devils had some server ups and downs this season, but they have caught fire at the right time. Duke has won eight consecutive games, and an ACC Tournament title would undoubtedly improve their NCAA Tournament stock.

A month ago, it was uncertain if this team could even make the Sweet Sixteen, but they have risen to a Final Four favorite. While Duke’s ability to crash and burn in the Tournament cannot be overlooked, they are indeed playing great basketball of late.

On the other side is a UVA team that is trying to rise in the ranks of this blue blood dominated conference. This will be their second NCAA Tournament appearance since their title in 2019, and the way they handled the gauntlet this is the Atlantic Coast Conference certainly proves they are a threat in this year’s tournament.

Virginia defeated Duke earlier in the season, but they needed overtime to do it, so while this game will be close, bettors can count on the Blue Devils to continue to roll.

Duke -3 (-110)
Over 123.5 (-110)
