Vanderbilt @ Kentucky

The Vanderbilt Commodores head to Kentucky to take on the 24th-ranked Wildcats.

It’s been a rough year for the Commodores, but they’re used to that, as they haven’t had a winning year since 2013. As a matter of fact, Vanderbilt has had just four winning seasons since 1975. So it’s a good thing they have a strong baseball program.

Winning is relatively new for the Wildcats. They have made the AP Rankings four of the past five years, but prior to that, they had appeared in the rankings just twice since 1978. Proving any school can turn around their football program.

As for the game at hand, Kentucky should have no problem with Vanderbilt, and seventeen and a half points seems low. Vanderbilt was blown out 55-0 by Georgia, 52-28 by Ole Miss, and 55-3 by Alabama. While Kentucky is not quite on those teams’ level, if they can do that much damage to the Commodores, Kentucky should be able to accomplish a 20-point victory.

Kentucky -17.5 (-110) & Over 46.5 Points

Georgia @ Mississippi State

New number one, Georgia, rolls through Mississippi to take on the Bulldogs. It’s a dog eat dog world.

After defeating Auburn in overtime last week, they have a much more challenging opponent in front of them. Mississippi State has taken care of every opponent they have faced except the ranked ones. Their three losses came against Kentucky, Alabama, and LSU. While they were not all ranked when they played, they are now.

Georgia has been steamrolling their way through the season. Only two teams have come within 16.5 points of the Bulldogs. Early in the season, Georgia beat Missouri by just 4, and last week they defeated Tennessee by 14. This weekend, Mississippi State will be trying to become the third.

Seeing as how the Bulldogs were bodied by Alabama and LSU, there is no reason to think Georgia won’t have the same success.

Auburn is the only team that has put up more than 31 on Mississippi State; this peculiar stat makes for an easy prop play in this one, as Georgia is obviously the best team they have faced.

Georgia -16.5 (-110) & Georgia Over 34 Points (-115)
