The 18th-best team in the country is hosting the 20th-best team as a seven-and-a-half-point favorite.
Despite losing to Providence by eight earlier in the season, the Huskies are expected to dominate at home today. Uconn is 13-2 at home this season straight up, but 9-5-1 at the spread.
Most of Providence’s big wins have come at home. The Friars are 3-5 against ranked opponents this season, and it’s a perfect reflection of their home and road splits against ranked schools. All three wins were at Amica Mutual Pavilion, and all five losses were on the road.
While there may be little hope for Providence to win straight up tonight, they should be able to cover that massive spread. While they lost all those road games, they were still competitive. They will keep things tight tonight, and Uconn should win by less than seven points.

Lipscomb @ Florida Gulf Coast
With just two games left to play, the Bisons head to Florida to take on the Eagles one more time. Florida Gulf Coast is given the edge at home after beating Lipscomb in Nashville by nine earlier in the month.
Both teams are playing out the schedule with a negative outlook on the upcoming ASUN Tournament. The ASUN has been surprisingly competitive this year, and five teams could end up pulling the bid for the big dance — neither school playing in this one is represented in that five.
This will be a dull, low-scoring game played by two uninspired teams, but someone has to come out on top.
Given the recent play by the Bisons, and the fact that FGCU has yet to find an advantage in playing at home this season, Lipscomb should cover, if not win, tonight.
