The Spartans head down to Georgia to take on the Bears for this Southern Conference matchup.

UNCG’s conference play was off to an incredible start, but they dropped their last two and have taken a step back in the standings. They now sit behind Furman and Samford — two teams they have beaten. So while they are now chasing them, they should find their way back to the top, and even if they can’t, they should still be the favorite entering the Southern Conference Tournament.

Mercer has already lost to the Spartans once this season, but they are coming off back-to-back conference wins, so hoping to catch fire at the right time in the season, the Bears will look to knock off this UNCG team will they are slipping.

Mercer looked strong at the start of the season, but since conference play started, they have yet to be able to score at the same rate they did early in the year. With UNCG trying to right their ship, this should be an easy win for the Spartans.

North Alabama @ Stetson

North Alabama is a hard dog to bet on. They have had some crazy wins, but they have also had some disgusting losses. They defeated Ole Miss in December but fell to the Queen’s University of Charlotte by 30. That seems to have shaken them, as they have won their four games since.

North Alabama lost to Stetson at the beginning of January by 10. It was a part of a five-game losing skid, but seeing how they have been playing of late, they should find a different result today.

Stetson has lost four of their last five games, but they have been great at home this season with a record of 5-1. Given that and their previous game against North Alabama, it’s responsible to see them as such a favorite, but North Alabama will leave Florida with a win.
