After defeating Youngstown State on Sunday, Cleveland State hopes to make a play for the Horizon title. They need Youngstown State to drop one more game before the end of the season, but that isn’t likely, given their schedule.

Regardless, a regular season title means little, as they will likely need a Horizons Tournament Championship to receive a bid into the NCAA Tournament.

Wright State has been the definition of mediocrity this season, and while they will put up a fight tonight, Cleveland State has too much on the line as the season winds down. The Vikings will take care of business at home.

Detroit Mercy @ Oakland

While Detroit Mercy is the third worst in the Horizon’s league, they are a long way from the bottom. Six games separate them from last place, but they are still an afterthought in this hodge-podge of a conference.

Detroit has been mediocre this year, but they have won three of theie last four games. Hoping to keep things rolling, they head to Oakland to take on the Golden Bears.

Oakland has had a respectable season, but with just three games to play, they would need a miracle to claim the conference. Oakland has won nine of their last ten meetings with Detroit Mercy and is 7-4 at home. So a win for Oakland seems to be in order today.

Oakland -2.5 (+100)
Under 152.5 (-110)
