While their defense has left something to be desired, their offense has taken off at an incredible rate, averaging over 90 points in their last five games — ten points higher than their season average.

Coach Penny Hardaway has always emphasized defense, so if this team can figure that out, they will be a dangerous tournament team.

While Memphis has been defeating inferior opponents, these games have all been in preparation for their battle with Houston on Sunday. The Tigers have a shot at winning the conference as they are two games behind Houston, and they still have two to play with them. So they will need a victory to keep themselves in this perfect position.

Northern Colorado @ Idaho

It’s a Big Sky battle as the Bears head to Idaho to take on the Vandals. Only Northern Arizona keeps these two squads from the bottom of the barrel, and while no one will care about the outcome of this game, it’s an easy smash spot for bettors.

Northern Colorado has won three games in a row, which account for more than half of their conference wins. They are on a little tear here, and they have already defeated Idaho once this season. In addition to that, Northern Colorado has won ten consecutive games against Idaho, and there is no reason to think that streak will end today. It’s a simple play, but an easy one.
