One of the most shocking things we’ve seen all season is North Carolina State becoming the best basketball team in the state of North Carolina. The Wolfpack have entered the top 25, and with a 9-5 record in conference play, they lead all North Carolina teams in the standings. However, looking at their schedule to close out the season, they probably shouldn’t get too comfortable in the AP Top 25.

After today’s game, the Wolfpack close out the season with two road games, against Syracuse and Duke and three at home against UNC, Clemson, and Wake Forest. They’ll be lucky to win more than two of their final six games.

As for BC, they are no slouch. They are 6-8 in ACC play and have been on a tear of late, winning four of their last six games. Unfortunately, some injuries have staggered their season, but they will try to keep trucking along against NC State today.

Six is a challenging spread to bet, as late fouls can quickly turn a cover. However, trying to bounce back from that loss against Virginia, the Wolfpack should cover today.

The Tigers head to Chapel Hill to take on the Tar Heels.

Clemson would love a win to take over the top slot in the ACC, but Carolina will be trying to end their three-game losing streak.

After making it to the National Championship Game last year, Hubert Davis is undoubtedly having a disappointing sophomore season as Head Coach. Should they win out the season, they would certainly make a case to play in the NCAA Tournament, but their performance in the ACC Tournament will weigh heavier.

UNC has the benefit of playing four of their last six games at home, and they are currently 10-1 at the Dean Dome. While they should be able to pick up the win today, a (-7.5) cover is extremely unlikely.

Clemson has been fantastic this season, and while they are coming off back-to-back losses, they will right the ship. A win in Chapel Hill would be a great statement, before heading home to play Florida State.

This will be an easy cover for the Tigers, and bettors may consider sprinkling some dough on the (+250) moneyline.
