MATCHUP SUMMARY
Coming off a disappointing home loss to the Patriots, the Chargers travel east to face the Eagles. The Eagles have given up the 6th most FP to the running back position as well as the 7th most receiving yards to the position. Austin Ekeler is one of my favorite RB plays on the slate. In the passing game, Keenan Allen continues to be the volume receiver with Mike Williams being the home run hitter. Allen would be my favorite here. Jared Cook is an interesting TE play as the Eagles have given up the 5th most FP to the TE position.
Coming off a 44-6 DRUBBING of the Lions in Detroit, it would be wise for the eagles to have the same game plan this week. They rushed 46 times for 236 yards in last week’s win and now face the Chargers who have the 32nd ranked rushing defense DVOA. It was a committee backfield with Boston Scott (5200), Jordan Howard (4600), and Kenneth Gainwell (5000) all getting 12 carries. Both Scott and Howard had 2 TDs. Jalen Hurts had 7 rushes for 70 yards. Boston Scott is my favorite Eagles RB. Dallas Goedert (4500) is also in play here as the Chargers have given up the 2nd most FP to the TE position.
THE DFS GEMS
Austin Ekeler, LAC – $7,900 on DraftKings. The eagles have been gashed by RBs this year.
Jalen Hurts, PHI – $6,700 on DraftKings. You could play him naked with Ekeler/Allen on the other side or pair him with Goedert.
Boston Scott, PHI – $5,200 on Draftkings. I wouldn’t play Hurts and Scott together.
Dallas Goedert, PHI – $4,500 on Draftkings. Chargers are hemorrhaging FP to the TE position. Pair with Hurts.
