MATCHUP SUMMARY
The Cardinals will be without DeAndre Hopkins once again while Kyler Murray is officially questionable but expected to play. Even if Murray does play, I expect Arizona to focus a run-heavy offense featuring their lone healthy back James Conner, who is one of my favorite plays on the entire slate. Christian Kirk has seen more targets in Hopkins’s absence but I would only consider him on the late slate.
The Seahawks return home after a dud of a performance against the Packers. This team is likely headed to an early offseason and ruled Chris Carson out for the remainder of the season this week. There is always potential upside with D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett but Arizona’s defense has allowed only two 20+ fantasy point performances to opposing Wide Receivers on the season. It’s worth pointing out that Lockett had two monster games against Arizona last year and any Seahawks’ offensive player will come at low ownership.
THE DFS GEMS
JAMES CONNER, ARI – $6100 on DraftKings. Seattle is yielding the most fantasy points to opposing Running Backs on the slate and I expect Conner to be heavily featured with or without Kyler active.
TYLER LOCKETT, SEA – $6000 on DraftKings. Lockett torched the Cardinals for 24/267/4 – you read that right – in their two games last season and I’ll have some exposure.
