MATCHUP SUMMARY
Denver will be without Teddy Bridgwater after suffering a ver scary concussion in week 15. Drew Lock (5100) will get the start this week. I dont have any interest there in DFS. I expect the Broncos to establish the run early and often in this one. In week 15, rookie sensation Javonte Williams (6100) finally outtouched veteran Melvin Gordon (5800). I would still expect a near 50/50 split here and while I think Javonte has the higher overall ceiling, both RBs are in play here. The Raiders have given up the 6th most FP to the RB position this season.
With the Broncos establishing the run often in this game, none of the Broncos WR are standing out to me here and i wont have any in my lineups this week. The same goes for the TEs for this Broncos team. I will just have Javonte Williams in my player pool for this week.
Derek Carr (5800) is always an uninspiring roster in DFS and this week is no different for me. Combined with the low total here, I wont have any Carr this week. Josh Jacobs (6000) has been an uninspiring fantasy option this season. He has yet to clear 100 yards rushing but does at least provide a little PPR with as he is averaging 5.5 targets per game over his last 4 games.
Hunter Renfroe (6800) laid a massive goosegg in week 15 after exploding for 13 catches and 117 yards and a TD in week 14. This does set up to be a nice bounce back spot versus a Denver d that is getting cooked by slot recievers this season. I’m just not sure I if I want to pay that price on this massive slate. The other Raiders WR are merely blind dart throws as they all are inconsisntent on a week to week basis. Darren Waller (6000) hasnt practiced this week and doesnt look lik he will make his return here. Foster Moreau (3600) would be a somewhat appealing option here coming off a 9 target game.
THE DFS GEMS
JaVonte Williams, DEN – $6,100 on DraftKings. Has he finally taken over the RB1 role?
Hunter Renfroe, LV – $6,800 on Draftkings. Not thrilled here but the volume should be there.
Foster Moreau, LV – $3,600 on Draftkings. If Waller is out again, he got 9 targets last week.
