MATCHUP SUMMARY

The Dallas Cowboys (6-1) are coming off back-to-back road wins against New England (35-29) and Minnesota (20-16) and have now won six games in a row. Playing without Dak Prescott last week, the Cowboys called on backup QB Cooper Rush and he delivered with a solid performance completing 24 of 40 passes for 325 yards and two touchdowns. Amari Cooper caught 8 passes for 122 yards and a touchdown. There is optimism that Prescott could return this week at home against the Broncos. He would make for a solid fantasy option here against a Broncos defense that just traded away eight-time Pro Bowler Von Miller.

The Broncos (4-4) made headlines off the field on Monday when they made a blockbuster deal to send Pro Bowler Von Miller to the Rams for a 2nd and 3rd round pick in the 2022 draft. On the field last week, the Broncos broke a four-game losing streak when they defeated the Washington Football Team 17-10. Teddy Bridgewater was efficient completing 19 of 26 passes for 213 yards and a touchdown. Wide receiver Jerry Jeudy returned from injury and caught all four targets for 39 yards. The Broncos offense will need to get much more production out of Jeudy and the rest of the offense if they are to keep up with this explosive Cowboys offense that is averaging 32 points per game this season.

THE DFS GEMS

Dak Prescott, DAL – $6,900 on DraftKings. If Dak can return this week he will make for a nice play in a game total that is currently sitting at 50.

Amari Cooper, DAL – $5,700 on DraftKings. People love to jam in Cee Dee Lamb and while he is a fine option I will side with Cooper coming off the big game and we also get a $1,500 discount.

Jerry Jeudy. DEN – $5,000 on DraftKings. Nice value play here as I look for Jeudy to get more volume this week from Bridgewater and should be in a great game script playing from behind.
