Houston @ OKC

Two of the worst teams meet as the race for Wembanyama heats up. With roughly 30 games to go, the Rockets hold a half-game lead on the number one pick.
The Thunder had a winning streak in January, and they have likely eliminated them from contention for the Frenchmen. Still, anything can happen in this league — especially when it comes to the lottery.
Houston defeated OKC at home on the first, and now the Rockets head to Oklahoma City to play the Thunder for their third meeting of the season.
The Rockets are tanking like their life depends on it, and the Thunder may end up making a run for a play-in spot. So there is no way the Rockets will win two games in one week. However, ten points is far too large of a spread. After losing to this team on Wednesday, I don’t see the Thunder serving a double-digit win here.

Atlanta @ Denver

Atlanta comes into Ball Arena on a roll. They annihilated the Suns in Phoenix and dealt an L to the Jazz. Now. They’ll try to knock off the top team in the West.
Nikola Jokić continues to do incredible things, leading this Denver team to an immaculate 36-16 record. The Nuggets have a four-game lead in the Western Conference and continue to surprise the league.
Surprisingly, Atlanta gave Denver one of those sixteen losses back in December. As a result, the Hawks will be trying for their first season sweep of Denver since the 2016-2017 season.
Atlanta is playing great ball, and they have finally topped .500, but there is no way they will knock off Denver at home. The Nuggets are 24-4 at home, and today they will have the assistance of an extremely home-friendly officiating crew.
The Crew Chief tonight is Zach Zarba. Home teams are 25-13 straight up and at the spread in games he officiates. Behind him will be Rodney Mott and Jonathan Sterling; combined, those zebras are 42-19 at the spread in favor of the home team.
There is no reason to think Denver won’t destroy Atlanta tonight.
