MATCHUP SUMMARY
The Eagles have now won 5 of their last 6 games and are riding a 3-game winning streak. Philly won in dominant fashion last week at home vs the Giants. The win did come with a loss thought as Miles Sanders went down with a fractured hand. Boston Scott and Jordan Howard split work 12/9 carries after Sanders went down. Both Scott and Howard are priced at 4.9K and 5.2K this week and make for GPP options. Devonta Smith saw 7 targets last week the most since late October. Smith has been tough to roster this year as Hurts has struggled to throw accurate passes at times. Dallas Goedert is priced under Smith and has 100-yard games in 3 of his last 4 outings. Goedert did bust last week only catching 2 passes for 28 yards, but I like the flop lag spot for him this week as he wasn’t needed much last week after Philly got up big. Jalen Hurts is priced at $6,600 and is a fine option this week. He has good rushing upside and Washington has struggled against the pass this season.
Washington has now lost 3 straight games after getting boat raced by Dallas last week 56-14. They now play Philly for the 2nd time in 3 weeks losing 27-17 in the first matchup. The Football Team was forced to start Garrett Gibert in that matchup due to Covid. Washington does hold a 20.5 implied team total this week. Antonio Gibson has been placed on the Covid list and is unlikely to play in this matchup. Jaret Patterson is priced at $4,800 and has been the next man up for Washington. He is a fine option for GPPs if you need an RB in that range. Terry McLaurin has had a down season this year and has only registered 100+ yards once in his last 7 games. McLaurin is best suited for large field GPPs at this point.
THE DFS GEMS
Jalen Hurts, PHI – $6,600 on DraftKings. Hurts has solid rushing upside and the offense runs through him. Philly has a 24.5 point implied team total and Hurts should score 2-3 touchdowns this week.
Dallas Goedert, PHI – $5,100 on DraftKings. Fair price tag on Goedert here coming off a down game but has a big upside.
Devonta Smith, PHI – $6,300 on DraftKings. More so a large field GPP target but fits nicely into Hurts doubles.
